ChangeLens Terms of Service
Terms for using ChangeLens for Jira, including Marketplace licensing, platform dependencies, and limitations.

Scope
These terms apply to ChangeLens for Jira, a Forge app published by MintedTools and made available through the Atlassian ecosystem.
What ChangeLens does
ChangeLens provides a read-only view of Jira description history and helps users compare available description revisions. It is intended as a convenience for reviewing text changes and does not replace Jira's underlying records, audit features, backups, or administrative controls.
Marketplace licensing and billing
If ChangeLens is offered as a paid app, subscriptions, trials, billing, renewals, licensing status, and applicable refunds are handled through the Atlassian Marketplace under Atlassian's then-current Marketplace terms and billing rules. Prices and plan availability may change prospectively.
No guarantee of complete historical reconstruction
ChangeLens depends on information made available by Jira and Atlassian APIs. Historical values, rich-text formatting, embedded content, deleted content, or older records may not always be available or reconstructable exactly. Users should not rely on ChangeLens as the sole archive, backup, compliance record, or source of truth for critical data.
Read-only design
ChangeLens is designed to display and compare information. It does not promise to restore prior versions or write historical text back into a Jira work item.
User responsibilities
You are responsible for using ChangeLens only on Jira sites and work items you are authorized to access, maintaining appropriate Jira permissions and account security, and complying with your organization's policies and applicable law.
Acceptable use
You may not use ChangeLens to interfere with Atlassian services, bypass access controls, probe or exploit vulnerabilities, reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it, or use the app in a way that violates Atlassian's terms or applicable law.
Third-party platform dependency
ChangeLens depends on Jira, Atlassian Forge, Atlassian Marketplace services, and related APIs. Availability and functionality can be affected by Atlassian outages, product changes, API changes, permissions, rate limits, Marketplace policies, or other platform conditions outside MintedTools' control.
Intellectual property
ChangeLens, its original code, branding, documentation, and related materials are owned by MintedTools except for third-party components and trademarks owned by their respective holders. Jira and Atlassian are trademarks of Atlassian and are not owned by MintedTools.
Availability and changes
We may update, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue ChangeLens or particular features. We may also update these terms when the app, Marketplace requirements, or applicable legal requirements change.
Disclaimer
ChangeLens is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, MintedTools does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every Jira revision can be displayed or reconstructed exactly.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MintedTools will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of or inability to use ChangeLens. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
