CRM Safety Net Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how MintedTools handles information in connection with CRM Safety Net, a HubSpot application that monitors open deal data for common pipeline gaps.

Information CRM Safety Net receives

When you install or use CRM Safety Net, we may receive and store information such as your HubSpot portal/account identifier, OAuth connection credentials, CRM Safety Net settings, plan status, digest email address, billing references, subscription status, and operational timestamps needed to provide the service.

HubSpot deal data

CRM Safety Net reads open HubSpot deal information needed to perform its checks. Depending on the check, this may include deal identifiers and names, amounts, owner assignment, activity timing, expected close dates, and recent activity or related deal properties made available by HubSpot. CRM Safety Net uses this data to identify deals that may need attention and to generate in-app results and, for eligible Pro accounts, email digests.

CRM Safety Net does not require deal write access for its monitoring function and does not use the app to edit HubSpot deals.

How information is used

• Provide and operate CRM Safety Net.
• Authenticate the HubSpot connection and refresh authorized access.
• Store user-selected settings and plan entitlements.
• Run deal-health checks and display flagged results.
• Send enabled Pro email digests.
• Process and manage subscription billing.
• Provide support, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Storage and retention

CRM Safety Net stores account-level configuration and connection information needed to operate the service. OAuth credentials are protected using application security controls, including encryption of stored token values. CRM Safety Net is not designed to maintain a separate long-term copy of your complete HubSpot CRM. Deal data may be processed transiently when scans and email digests are generated, and limited operational information may appear in service logs.

We retain service configuration, connection, billing, and support information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business records, comply with law, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You may request deletion of eligible CRM Safety Net data by contacting us.

Service providers

CRM Safety Net relies on service providers to operate. These currently include HubSpot for CRM and OAuth functionality, Cloudflare for application infrastructure and data storage, Stripe for subscription checkout and billing, and Resend for transactional email delivery. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Payment card information is entered into Stripe-hosted payment experiences and is not intended to be stored by MintedTools.

Sharing and sale of information

We do not sell HubSpot CRM data or CRM Safety Net account information. We may share information with service providers as needed to operate the app, with professional advisers where appropriate, when required by law, or in connection with a business reorganization subject to applicable obligations.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect CRM Safety Net information. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You can disable individual checks, disable Pro email digests, manage or cancel a Pro subscription through the billing portal, or uninstall CRM Safety Net from HubSpot. To request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with CRM Safety Net, contact us at [email protected].

Children

CRM Safety Net is a business application and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as CRM Safety Net changes. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
