Business Math Privacy Policy
How the Business Math Chrome extension handles the numeric text you explicitly select for calculations.

Scope
This privacy policy applies specifically to the Business Math Chrome extension published by MintedTools. It is separate from the general MintedTools Automation website privacy policy.
What Business Math processes
Business Math processes only the text or numeric value that you intentionally select on a webpage and then choose to use with the extension. The extension uses those selected values to calculate items such as difference, percentage change, percentage difference, ratio, percentage-point change, basis-point change, profit, margin, and markup.
Local storage
When you choose Save selected as first value, Business Math stores that first selected value in Chrome's local extension storage on your device so it can be compared with the second value you select later. The saved value may remain there until it is replaced, cleared by you, or the extension is removed.
No external transmission
Selected values and calculation results are not sent to MintedTools, an external server, an analytics provider, an advertising network, or any other third party. Calculations are performed locally in your browser.
Data Business Math does not collect
Business Math does not collect or transmit personally identifiable information, health information, financial account or payment information, authentication credentials, personal communications, precise location, browsing history, or user activity. The extension does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Website content
Because Business Math operates on text that you explicitly highlight on a webpage, the extension handles limited website content chosen by you. It does not scan entire pages, record your browsing history, or monitor the websites you visit.
Permissions
Business Math uses Chrome's context-menu permission to add its right-click commands and Chrome's storage permission to keep the first value you explicitly save for a later comparison. It does not request broad host permissions or access to your browsing history.
Remote code
Business Math does not load or execute remote code. The code used by the extension is packaged with the extension itself.
Sharing and sale of data
MintedTools does not sell, transfer, or share Business Math user data with third parties.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Business Math's use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
